Egg and Cheese Laffa (Taboon Bread) Breakfast Wrap

Thought that sliced pan was the only bread you could put in a sandwich maker? Time to think again! This egg and cheese breakfast toastie is a crowdpleaser!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Slices White cheese
  • 1 Wrap Laffa / taboon bread
  • For sprinkling Zaatar
  • 1 Tsp Olive oil
  • Engouth so spread Humus

Instructions
 

  • Scramble the two eggs using your preferred method
  • When eggs have cooked, place your laffa in the sandwich maker. Spread a layer of humus.
  • Layer on two slices of cheese. Sprinkle with za'atar. For an extra wholesome flavor, add a layer of labneh.
  • Cook for five minutes, or until the cheese has thoroughly melted.
  • Plate up. Your breakfast is ready!

Other topping suggestions to add before cooking: fried mushrooms, fried onions, spring onions, tomato, tuna, capers.
