Where To Find Modern Hebrew Fonts Online

When it comes to custom fonts, the selection of Hebrew fonts on the market is naturally not as developed as those designed in the Latin alphabet.

However, Google Fonts — and a handful of other websites — have a few beautifully designed fonts available for free download. Both cursive and square (Ashurit) fonts can be found — the majority the work of local graphic designers.

At the time of writing FreeFonts.co.il has 50 or so different Hebrew fonts.

The download files, .zip archives, contain .ttf (TrueType font) files which can be easily installed on various operating systems (including Linux!)

Speaking of which if you are on Linux and wish to add additional custom fonts from the internet to your system add the font-manager package to make your life easier.

Yes, Google maintains an excellent collection of fonts available for free download at fonts.google.com.

Their font library actually includes a number of attractive fonts with both English and Hebrew glyphs. These can be downloaded and installed on your operating system and used across all programs.
